Sixties Cinema - starring fantasy femmes, film fatales, drive-in dream girls and teenage beach movies from the 60's

I have uncovered the whereabouts of another elusive starlet. Pretty blonde Corinne Cole (at left with Jerry Lewis in The Big Mouth) is alive and well. Playboy fans may remember her for her reign as Miss December 1958 under the name Lari Laine. Moviegoers will recall her amusing performances as the harried secretary of nudie magazine publisher Robert Coote in The Swinger starring Ann-Margret in the title role; Slaygirl-turned-assassin Miss January in Murderers' Row; and an inebriated party guest in the Peter Sellers comedy, The Party.

Corinne worked as a journalist during the seventies and eighties and is the widow of renowned director George Sidney. You will be able to read more about her career in my upcoming book, Glamour Girls of 60s Hollywood.
