It has been "reported" in the tabloids that our lovely Carol Lynley is down-and-out and seriously ill. Horrified, I checked in with my friend and entertainment reporter Nelson Aspen who is pals (lucky guy) with Ms. Lynley. Nelson laughed as he just had lunch with her and reports that Carol is fine and well, squelching this vicious rumor. She still lives in Malibu and had just returned from London where she, Stella Stevens, and Pamela Sue Martin were special guests at a tribute for The Poseidon Adventure.

Speaking of which, that mini-series that aired recently was God-awful!!! Here's hoping the big screen Poseidon is better. But curses on both their houses since neither approached Carol, Stella, and Pamela Sue to appear in cameo roles!!!
