ROBERT ALTMAN

Legendary director Robert Altman passed away this week. Check out this wonderfully written tribute by my friend Shaun Chang.

Altman began as a TV director and one of his early assignments was to direct an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents entitled "The Young One" starring Carol Lynley as a sweet and not-so sweet teen with an overly protective auntie whom she lives with. When the old lady prohibits Lynley from seeing teenage biker Vince Edwards she turns up dead. All fingers point to Edwards but turns out that Lynley killed her and framed him.
