COME GREET THE PLEASURE SEEKERS!



Along with Come Fly with Me, The Pleasure Seekers is one of my favorite cotton candy type movies of the Sixties. I am a sucker for those 3 starlets trying to find fun and romance in some exotic foreign port. Coincidentally,both films star Pamela Tiffin appearing in the later with Ann-Margret and Carol Lynley as they take Madrid, Spain by storm.

Below is a clip where Gene Tierney confronts her husband Brian Keith's secretary Lynley in the ladiesroom after spying a kiss between the two in the back seat of a car. If this scene looks vaguely familiar it is because it is a precursor to the more famous ladiesroom scene between Patty Duke and Susan Hayward in Valley of the Dolls. Not surpirisng since both films were produce by David Weisbart.

Here's hoping Fox finally releases The Pleasure Seekers on DVD or at least reruns it on the Fox Movie Channel!
