CATWOMAN'S MEOW

A few Blogs ago, I posted a link to a New York Times story about The Hollywood Collectors Show. Through the grapevine I heard that some of the celebrities were unhappy with the story because some of it focused on the money they made from selling their autographs. I disagree and as someone who has attended and participatd in these autograph conventions felt it was very insightful and respectful unlike other pieces that have been written over the years.

Clever story... but you missed the real story, NY Times. It's about what the public gives back to us in love and appreciation for our flesh and blood interpretations of their fantasies.

I suppose the moral of this story is that you can't please everybody all of the time. And, in the case of actors and actresses, there is even less likelihood of pleasing them!
